Founded in 1941, the Institute now unites more than 200,000 professionals worldwide and establishes the Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS), which are relied upon by the world's leading countries.

The establishment of IIA Georgia in Georgia is an important milestone that will facilitate internal auditors' direct access to the new globally recognized global standards (GIAS), ensuring: Support for the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) international certification; Access to the latest international research and global expertise; Professional training opportunities.
